A Catholic neurologist on the Terri Schiavo case

The Terri Schiavo Case: A Catholic Neurologist's Perspective

I wasn't going to blog again today, but I saw this article linked from Seattle Catholic and felt compelled to post it here. It is a very helpful article, especially for those who might have been scandalized by Fr. Cekada's recent comments in The Remnant.

What were Fr. Cekada's comments? I haven't seen those yet.

This article confirms what many of us already believed, that a great injustice was done to Terri and her family. May she rest in peace.

Oh, and I've been wondering if there have been any published reports on the autopsy results?

Fr. Cekada (who, by the way, is a sedevacantist) made some ill-advised and uninformed comments in The Remnant about how Mrs. Schiavo's feeding tube constituted extraordinary means and that her husband had the right to withdraw it.
