Interview tomorrow
I almost forgot to tell you all. The job I have now is good. I am not job searching but the problem is I do not want to work forever. I want to eventually stay home with my baby..and have more babies. Dh is not able to get a good job at all...needs an education. He is an excellent teacher and would like to get his degree in Theology/Teaching so he can find a position at a school or parish. In order for him to do this I need a better paying job. This job I am at now is good but I will never make more money. If I could be a sales rep that would help out alot..but this is a male oriented company. Yesterday I got the news that the leads I produced made 220,000 dollars...that was just yesterday. I will get about 400 bucks out of that...which don't get me wrong ...thats still alot of money to me...but the rep who sold it...after the job is done will get around 20,000. :-) Must be nice.
Well, to make a long story short, my MIL is with a company that her boss and his brother-in-law started up. They have alot of people who have already invested money. The product is related to health care and seems really great. Tomorrow I am taking the lady to lunch who is in charge of sales/marketing. Not sure if it will turn into business...but she is willing to consider my for the position of their first sales rep.
Please pray that God gives me wisdom and that His will be done in this situation. They are starting people out really well...around 40,000....not sure what they are offering the sales reps...but we shall see. Anyway, just pray for me. I will be meeting with her at 12:30 pm central time.

Praying for you, as always. :) Have you guys looked into grants/scholarships for your husband's education? He should be able to go to school without you having to pay much, if anything at all, since you are low income. And there are programs to subsidize childcare if necessary while he is at school. File a FAFSA and see what they determine should be your family eligibility for aid.
Yes, we have done all of that. The problem is..the only good Catholic school over here is horribly expensive. After the grants, FAFSA etc we are in the hole 13,000.00 Not fun at all...and since he has been out of school for 6 months..we have to start paying that back. This is why I need a job that I can make school payments with.
Geez! Is there anyway he could get some of the general coursework done at a less expensive school and transfer? I don't know how far he's gotten... ;)
Yeah, all that we owe is for only ONE YEAR!!! Im telling you this place is expensive..the bummer is they will not accept any tranfers. Very smart! It's a little frustrating...but I know if God wants him in school then he will be in school.
I truly beleive that God has had us go through all we did because He wanted to see if dh would give up school for his family...the ultimate sacrifice for him. It has been his dream to get a degree in theology..and to be the first one in his family with a bachelors.
Oh...here is the website to the company that I have an interview with today. www.intellecare.com To get more detailed info on the product you have to register. Remember, this company has just started up within the last few months.
I am praying for your family. I have no doubt that God will work this out for you all in His time, whenever that may be. I will pray for His will in this job interview, and that if the company is secure, you will get the job. My sister signed on with a startup company, keeping their books. It's worked out well for her, income-wise. A new company can be a little riskier so even if you are offered the job, you'll have pros and cons to weigh. So, I'll also pray for your discernment.
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
Glory be...
St. Joseph, patron of families, pray for us.
Bekah,
Thank you so much for your prayers. A change is always precarious for my family, since I have the most income right now. I know God will work in this. His grace has been most evident the last few months. I only pray He helps us to stay free from the stain of sin, and that He allow us to be married to receive that Grace we need. Bekah, you have been a true friend. Thank you.
I getting nervous now.
Im back! It went so well!!!! She is going to hire me by July 1st. The awesome news is that the Dr.'s are the ones who market this product to the patients. I am going to have a desk in the Dr.'s office and just sign them up as they come. I will get a salary and commission. This doctor has over 100,000 patients! It sounds so great. Hopefully it will be..lol. She asked me what I wanted to make in regards to money...I told her what I am making now and told her my not to high goal was 40,000 a year. She said that is no problem and that with the commissions I should make even more than that!
I am so glad it went well! I hope that everything will work out for you guys, and that you will be able to work toward staying home with your darling little girl. :)
Me too!!! And thank you :-)
